We are currently seeking a skilled Blaster to join our team. The Blaster will be responsible for preparing surfaces for painting by using abrasive blasting equipment and techniques. * Mon - Fri * 8:00am - 17:00pm * Weekly Pay * Temp Ongoing work (6-10 weeks to start) Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain abrasive blasting equipment to clean, smooth, or shape surfaces of materials - Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment - Prepare surfaces by masking off areas not to be blasted - Inspect surfaces after blasting to ensure quality standards are met - Assist with the painting process as needed Skills: - Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools - Mechanical knowledge to operate and maintain blasting equipment - Ability to weld and fabricate as required - Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations - Capability to assemble and disassemble equipment - Experience in painting surfaces is advantageous Join our team as a Blaster and contribute to our projects with your expertise in surface preparation and blasting techniques
