An excellent and rewarding job opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious individual to join our Speke garage as a Shift Engineer reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, whilst maintaining the fleet of PSV vehicles. The role will involve: * Servicing and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards. * Continuous improvement of vehicle standards * MOT preparation * Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to Arriva Standards (Higher than DVSA) * Monday - Friday - Shift patterns Requirements: * Knowledge of PSV/HGV maintenance with recognised qualifications (E.G level 3 NVQ) * Can work safely and unsupervised to pre-set standards and guidelines * Electrical knowledge is desirable but not necessary * A PCV license is desirable but not necessary * Inspection of vehicles for the scheduled maintenance (training can be provided) with IRTEC accreditation favourable Benefits: * Attractive salary & package * Contributory pension scheme * Great prospects for a rewarding career with progression and promotion opportunities * Free Bus pass for you and your family * Company pension * Free parking * On-site parking
