Sewing Machinist Benefits: £30,000 annual salary £3,000 sign-on bonus (paid over 12 months) Daily overtime at 1.5x basic rate (£22.60/hour) 25 days holiday + bank holidays Annual bonus (inclusive of overtime) 9% non-contributory pension Free on-site parking Excellent facilities and training opportunities Sewing Machinist Responsibilities: Create components using industrial sewing machines and overlockers Follow templates, patterns, and technical drawings to cut and assemble fabric pieces Mark parts using stamps and ink pads Monitor materials and stitching for quality issues Record work accurately using SAP Use engineering drawings to identify part numbers, finishes, and technical details Sewing Machinist Requirements: Experience using industrial sewing machines in a manufacturing setting Ability to interpret technical drawings and instructions Understanding of weft, weave, and fabric types Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with accuracy and consistency Able to carry out simple maintenance on sewing machines (e.g., needle changes) All successful candidates will be subject to background security checks, including identity, address history, employment verification, right to work, and criminal record screening.
