Sewing Machinist Location - Southend-on-Sea Salary - up to £31,000 depending on level of experience A world leader in aerospace component manufacturing are currently searching for a Sewing Machinist to work within the machine shop overlocking and sewing cut parts into finished covers. Candidates should have previous experience of industrial sewing. Duties: Using drawings, templates, work instructions and/or samples to sew precut parts Carry out any reworks required Overlock cut parts as per instructions/training. Keep the sewing machine/overlocker in a clean and regularly oiled condition and report any faults to the Team Leader Work within guidelines/instructions to ensure traceability is maintained Carry out any other tasks where reasonable and relevant, when required.
