SERVICE VEHICLE TECHNICIAN Basic Salary: Up to £35,000 Depending on Experience OTE: £38,000+ Location: Bury St Edmunds Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm | 1 in 4 Saturday Mornings Paid at 1.5x Overtime Rate Our client is looking for a skilled Service Vehicle Technician to join their busy and successful workshop. Benefits - 33 Days Annual Leave Including Bank Holidays - Employee Discount Scheme - Health & Employee Assistance Programme - Referral Bonus Scheme - On-Site Parking - Ongoing Manufacturer & Technical Training - Career Development Opportunities - Overtime Available Key Responsibilities - Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards - Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work requirements - Carry out repairs including brakes, suspension, steering and drivetrain components - Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and right first time - Accurately complete job cards, service records and warranty documentation - Carry out road tests and quality control checks following repairs - Maintain high levels of workshop productivity and efficiency Skills & Qualifications - NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair preferred - Level 2 qualification will be considered for candidates with relevant workshop experience - At least 2 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician within the automotive industry - Strong servicing, maintenance and repair experience - Full UK Manual Driving Licence - Own tools and toolbox - Right to work in the UK (No sponsorship available) Desirable - MOT Tester Licence - Level 3 Award in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair & Replacement - Previous Main Dealer experience - Experience working with modern diagnostic equipment Why Apply?
