Due to continued success, we are now looking to recruit for a full-time Service Technician based in Edinburgh; EH11. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified Service Technician. A desire to advance their career to VWG HVE level would also be of benefit to the candidate. The successful candidate will earn a market leading salary of up to £38,000 per year, depending on skills, previous experience and performance in the role; to be discussed at interview. Are you the right person for the job? Service Technician or EV Technician MOT Tester, preferred but not essential Previous experience is essential As well as technical competence in the mechanics of a vehicle, you will also have a thorough knowledge of the electrical components and be comfortable with using the latest diagnostic equipment to detect and diagnose faults and establish the work required You will be fully competent in the servicing and repairing of vehicles to the highest Manufacturer standards Live within a commutable distance and have the right to work in the UK What will your role look like? To carry out diagnostics, service and repair of franchised vehicles to the highest standards, including diagnosis of electrical and electronic problems Deliver the highest levels of customer satisfaction and ensure the first-time fix is achieved for each customer To maintain skill levels and full awareness of all technology used in the vehicle range, attending relevant Service Technician training when required To keep the work area and protective clothing clean, tidy and in a safe condition in order to uphold the manufacturer and company image To take an active part in upholding the company’s Health and Safety policy What can you expect in return?
