Service Advisor Immediate Start – Permanent Vacancy We are recruiting a Service Advisor for one of the largest commercial vehicle dealerships in the UK. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a busy and dynamic team where staff are rewarded for their hard work! To be considered for this role Service Advisor position, it is essential you have experience of working within a client-driven role within the Motor industry. You must be organised, able to multi-task and prioritise a busy workload. Excellent customer service is paramount for this role. Service Advisor Duties will include: * Booking vehicles for work to be conducted. * Advising on technical queries * Informing customers of the progress of their vehicle * Upselling products and services where applicable * Finalising the invoice on completion of required work * Perform a walk-around check of customer. * Listen to customer's complaints and description of symptoms; clarify description of problems; check vehicle maintenance records. * Verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers, explaining provisions and exclusions. * Generate service order estimates and quotes for customers. * Understand the technician's diagnosis and service recommendations. * Explain cost, service process and time requirements to customers in detail. Service Advisor Skills Required: * Driven with excellent customer service. * The ability to demonstrate a keen determination and desire to succeed within a fast moving and target driven sales environment. * Have an interest and passion for commercial vehicles. * Driven by exceeding targets. * The ability to lead and motivate the team. * Have a knowledge of the motor trade and a genuine interest in the brand. * Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with customers and prospective customers and trade partners.
