The Role: Silcom Recruitment is actively seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a leading automotive client located in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional with a passion for the automotive industry. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the service department and customers, ensuring a seamless and efficient customer experience. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for delivering expert advice on vehicle maintenance and repair, coordinating service appointments and ensuring that customer expectations are met or exceeded throughout their service journey. Responsibilities & Requirements of a Service Advisor: Greet customers and assist with their service needs. Schedule appointments and manage the service calendar. Provide detailed explanations of vehicle issues and the necessary repairs. Prepare accurate cost estimates and obtain customer approvals. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and efficient service. Keep customers informed of their vehicle’s progress and any additional work required. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any service-related issues. Maintain customer records and update service histories. Promote additional services and products that benefit the customer. The Package: Basic Salary: £27,000 + £30,000 OTE UNCAPPED!! 25 Days holiday!! Monday to Friday hours [8:00am – 5:30pm] + (1-in-2) Saturdays [8:00am – 1:00pm]!!
