Job Title: Service Advisor Location: Farnham Hours: 7.30am – 5.30pm Days: Monday – Friday Salary: £35,000 per annum Your duties will be supporting the service departments administration/reception and always ensuring complete customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiastic and confident personality and can work well within a team. Responsibilities for this Service Advisor role: Greet customers warmly and assess their vehicle service needs in a professional manner Explain repair and maintenance work clearly, providing recommendations for additional services through upselling opportunities Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and services Prepare accurate estimates and invoices for customers, including handling cash transactions securely Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, vehicle history, and service orders Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business Keep the service area organised and ensure compliance with health and safety standardsRequirements of the Service Advisor: Proven experience in customer service within an automotive or related industry is preferred Strong mechanical knowledge to understand vehicle issues and communicate effectively with technicians Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional demeanour Ability to upsell additional services tactfully while prioritising customer needs Competence in cash handling and basic administrative tasks Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently A valid driving licence is desirable but not essential; however, a clean driving record is preferredInterested?
