Elevation Recruitment Group are working alongside a manufacturer based in Sherburn  to recruit a Senior Engineer to join their team. Our client is looking for a Senior Engineer who possesses a can-do attitude, the ability to work independently and excellent technical capabilities to generate and present technical material to suit the audience. Duties of the Senior Engineer will include: Support the leadership of the Durability and Robustness Attribute  Lead assigned Whole Vehicle Testing activities Collate component, system and vehicle level test requirements  Work closely with the Vehicle Engineering team to develop test plans  Participate in benchmarking of company and competitor vehicles Assess vehicles throughout the development Support the implementation and development of Engineering robustness Work with teams to provide the technical voice for customer expectations  Reference Quality History Reviews and Design Failure Modes & Effects Analyses in new design system design  Perform virtual and physical analysis to evaluate vehicle Durability and Robustness  Work with teams to ensure that vehicles are appropriately prepared for testing Execute teardown activities as part of testing, such as post-corrosion or durability testing Coordinate and maintain spares and consumables requirements  Create and check sign-off reports for the Whole Vehicle Test team before approval and release by the Principal Engineer We would like to speak with Senior Engineers with the following experience  Degree qualified in an Engineering field  Vehicle testing experience in the automotive or commercial vehicle industry Vehicle electrification experience and understanding of the impact on vehicle Testing Self-starter with high levels of resilience to lead root cause analysis.
