Our client, a leading automotive company, is currently seeking a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer on a contract basis to join their team. As a Senior Structural Analysis Engineer, you will be responsible for performing a range of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and simulations of combustion engines and transmissions. This is a contract role, offering an attractive hourly rate. Key Responsibilities: Carry out FE-based analyses of engine components to predict structural performance and durability Conduct thermal analyses and optimization of powertrains, including combustion engines Perform structural analyses of transmission assemblies and components Work on engineering activities for ICE and transmission component analysis and optimization from prototype through to full series production Collaborate closely with design and development teams to assess functionality and performance of systems Produce technical reports, interpret results, and provide suggestions for improvements Adhere to internal and client quality procedures and validation processes Support the development of future products and services, contributing to the development of new techniques Job Requirements: Graduate degree in mechanical, automotive, or aerospace engineering (or similar) Strong experience in simulation and/or testing roles in the automotive, mechanical, or aerospace industry Sound knowledge of ICE and transmission technology Proficiency in FE codes such as Realis FEARCE, Abaqus, or Optistruct Experience using office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) Minimum of 5 years' experience in FE analysis Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and deliver project deliverables on time Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver technical presentations to internal teams and clients Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented If you are a highly skilled Senior Structural Analysis Engineer with experience in FEA and simulations, we want to hear from you!
