Position Title: Senior Software Developer Duration: Contract Location: Gothenburg, Sweden Description of the assignment Our Client is looking for a Senior SW Developer with a wide range of software languages in their toolbox and who doesn't shy away to get their head into a new language or tool, to get the job done, more a Jack of all trades, than a master of one. The core of assignments for this role consists of rapid prototyping of HMI concepts (in various fidelities) using a variety of software languages and tools. This might be JavaScript (React / Node.Js), Python and C# or C++ in gaming engines like Unity and Unreal. Additionally, an understanding of Embedded-C programming in resource constrained environments is valued along with networking protocols like MQTT and WebSocket and bus protocols like CAN, SPI and I2C. An aptitude for signal processing and sound math fundamentals is also valued, especially in areas of light and sound processing and synthesis. You will be working within various projects with focus on User Interface implementation of concepts through SW development, HW integration and technical expertise, to support and evaluate the HMI and UX design together with the designers in the HMI Design team. Knowledge of git and containerization tools is also valued. You will work within the Technology & Innovation Design department, a cross-functional team where inter- disciplinary focus, curiosity and drive are highly valued. Strong diverse programming background Python (3yrs) C#, C++, Embedded-C (3yrs) 5+ years min combined software/firmware development experience Nice-to-haves Android & iOs app development Experience with Unity and/or Unreal Engine Experience using AI frameworks. Experience with opensource embedded hardware like Arduino, Teensy, Raspberry Pi Linux shell / Bash / PowerShell Vehicle protocols such as CAN-FD, CAN, Flexray, LIN Personal attributes Strong drive, communicative with good presentation skills, independent and confident as well as a good team player. Creative and innovative but structured, methodical, and analytical with good planning skills. Flexible and able to work under constrained time schedules and frequently revised circumstances.
