Our client are an internationally based innovator in the automotive industry specializing in the development and supply of holographic technologies to Tier 1s and OEMs, with their primary focus currently on augmented reality (“AR”) Head-up displays (“HUDs’). Our client's’ holographic platform, which leverages a combination of complex materials science and proprietary algorithms (over 1000 patents issued or pending), enables unparalleled performance as it relates to optimizing both OEM manufacturing requirements and the end-user experience. Due to growth, our client is currently looking to hire an experienced Sales Manager whose responsibilities will be focuses around business development and account management with European based OEMs and suppliers. Based in Germany Responsibilities * Manage Mercedes, BMW, VW OEM Account and develop the business of Holographic Head Up display * Identify sales opportunities and analyze market potential for each Car Roadmap to set up Biz Priorities * Develop, nurture, maintain and establish strong working relationships with current and future key decision makers within the customer organization * Initiate demonstrations to Senior Management from OEM’s at Key events (Ex: Las Vegas, CES) * Support program management initiatives for new development projects including monitoring, creating, and overseeing time lines with the appropriate follow-up and necessary updates. * Coordinate, oversee, and monitor internal resources and systems to ensure product/sample Proof of Concept is shipped to the customer within agreed upon timeframe. * Lead Proof of concept project through the organization, ensure adequate support levels and prioritization from Technical Project Leads and Program Management Leads for our client. * Make formal presentations to all customer levels including upper management. * Tailor presentation to customer needs, relating product to their business strategies. * Provide management with reports on customer needs, interests, competitive activities, problems and potential to sell products * Identify, develop, and establish product and customer strategy and align internal resources to support strategy. * Accept accountability and ownership for all aspects of Account. * Serve as lead point of contact for all customer account management matters * Other Account Management duties as assigned Qualifications: * 8 or more years of managing the RFQ/RFI process for technical electronic automotive components , modules or sub-assemblies in the infotainment field. * Master in Engineering or Deep Technical understanding is required for this position, on top of Sales background or/and Degree. * Automotive experience required, Tier 1 or OEM, preferably in Germany. * OEM industry specific account management, pre-sales and/or Program management experience as it pertains to the business/product and/or customer. * Direct experience with European automotive manufacturers or Tier One suppliers preferred. * Must have a proven track record of developing new sales opportunities and growing new businesses from scratch. * Demonstrated negotiation skills and communication skills at international level, as HQ is in UK. * Familiarity with Head-up Displays is a plus, but not mandatory. * German native speaker is mandatory * Position based in Frankfurt Germany
