Senior Quality Engineer, Swadlincote £55,000 + benefits (37.5 hours weekly) Senior Quality Engineer required by a plastic manufacturing company supplying to the automotive industry, with a focus on the delivery of sustainable mobility solutions and services, including the development of alternative energy solutions. As Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the Lab, coordinating the injection and paint quality activities, supporting new launches and engineering changes, Sils PPM, audits, and ensuring consolidation of plant figures for weekly and monthly end reports. You’ll also actively progress internal issues, ensuring involvement with plant manufacturing teams and liaising where required with internal and external customers. Other accountabilities will incorporate: Quality Problem Solving New Product Launch Process control – Control Plan Adherence Continuous Improvement People Management Driving Internal KPIs, SILs PPM About you: Suitably qualified in an engineering topic (degree/ HNC/ HND/ ONC) Understanding of IATF standards Experience with People Management Experience with project management techniques – timing, budget control, product quality.
