Elevation Recruitment Group is working with an industry leading manufacturer based in Dewsbury looking to recruit a Senior Project Design Engineer. Our client is seeking a Senior Project Design Engineer with a strong NPI background to be the go-to technical lead, responsible for all design decisions from concept to production implementation. Other responsibilities of the Senior Project Design Engineer will include: Lead multi-discipline teams  Use standard problem-solving tools and Six Sigma tools Assist in compiling Design and Development validation plans  Ensure that the product or system meets product specifications and quality requirements Control product design and component tooling spend Ensure cost targets is achieved and designs are commercially competitive Liaise with customers on new projects Preparation of project engineering data for new product assemblies and components  Investigate design factors such as function, materials, performance, interchangeability, cost, and operational efficiency  We would be keen to speak with Senior Project Design Engineers with the following: Degree qualified in an engineering discipline Experience in engineering design 3D CAD experience (ideally Autodesk Inventor) Experience in using FEA & CFD Six Sigma Green Belt PC literate / numerically competent Articulate with good communication and leadership skills.
