Senior Manufacturing Engineer (Vehicle Body Construction) The Opportunity Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in rural Warwickshire is actively seeking an experienced Senior Manufacturing Engineer to work in Body Construction on a permanent basis. On offer to the successful applicant is a negotiable, albeit based on relevant experience, basic salary together with a full comprehensive benefits package. Your duties and responsibilities will be: As part of a small team of engineers responsible for the continuous improvement of the Tub and Body Construction facility at the companies multiple sites, you will be responsible for delivering robust process and quality improvements and new model introduction. You should have experience of Siemens Teamcenter Manufacturing Process Planner, MBOM’s & BOP and 100% Job Shop Assemblies. An understanding of Facility & Tooling requirements, Process Documentation, Supplier Quality Processes, Layout Planning and Problem Resolution will also be required. You will ensure that the highest quality build standards are achieved whilst ensuring the health & safety of technicians is never compromised. You will have the following qualifications & experience: * Should ideally have an ONC minimum qualification, better still be HNC / Degree qualified in Engineering, Manufacturing or similar, although plenty of equivalent and relevant experience will also be considered. * You should be a highly experienced Manufacturing Engineer within the Automotive industry, with a good understanding of problem resolution and an ability to interrogate and interpret data. * Should have a good understanding of and experience in Vehicle Body Construction / Prototype Build / Exterior Trim or similar. * Experience of Siemens Teamcenter is needed. * A willingness to adopt new ideas with an open mind to low volume constraints is essential. It’s great if you also have the following: * Automotive OEM industry experience. * ‘Hands-on’ Technical skills (e.g. assembly, fabrication, welding) This position is available with immediate effect.
