Expleo Engineering are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to support the continuous improvement of Automotive Tub and Body construction facilities whilst driving robust dimensional, process and quality improvements. This will be a permanent role based at our clients site in Stratford-on-Avon. Responsibilities of the Senior Manufacturing Engineer include: Investigating and resolving Manufacturing related issues, providing timely containments to ensure that product quality is not compromised. Working alongside the quality and PVT teams to improve dimensional quality and manage build issue resolution. Working with Logistics and Facilities Engineers to determine efficient station layouts. Selecting the appropriate Jigs and Fixtures, to meet vehicle quality and hours per car targets whilst ensuring operator safety targets are achieved. Liaising with the Health & Safety department to ensure all processes & materials are suitable for the manufacturing environment. Representing Manufacturing Engineering at the various planning meetings to review status and provide feedback. Background, skills and experience required for the Senior Manufacturing Engineer role: ONC, HNC or Degree level educated within a related Engineering discipline. Previous Body Manufacturing experience, with a good understanding of dimensional issue resolution with an ability to interrogate and interpret dimensional data. Experience within facility and tooling requirements, process documentation, supplier quality processes, layout planning and problem resolution. Prior experience of project delivery through application of continuous improvement practices.
