Senior Management Accountant Reigate (Hybrid) Salary up to 60k plus bonus and benefits Who we are: ABL 1 Touch was established in 1994 and is a private equity backed vehicle repair business renown as a leader in its field. Who are we looking for: We’re looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Management accountant to take responsibility for the production of management accounts and oversee management reporting that enables the business to make commercially sound decisions. You will partner with all areas of the finance team and work closely with the FP&A team to ensure data is accurate and relevant. The ideal candidate will be self motivated, with fantastic attention to detail and great communication skills. You will need to be able to be in the Reigate office 3 – 4 days per week during onboarding and then this could transition to 2 – 3 days per week. What we need you to do: Lead and oversee the production of monthly accounts and associated management information reporting, including P&L’s and KPI’s, ensuring insightful and accurate information on business performance Continuously seek to improve quality (presentation, accuracy, and coverage) of financial information and improve efficiency of the finance team Produce monthly and quarterly cost reports and analyse results to identify trends and variances, variance to budget and work with budget holders to understand. Seek to optimise the cost base and proactive challenge to budget holders with sharing of insights and knowledge Responsible for the balance sheet, including financial transactions, reconciliations, and VAT as well as all statutory, investor and regulatory returns Work with FP&A team on producing the annual financial budget and cash flow forecast Liaise with external auditors to ensure that financial accounts meet regulatory guidelines for year-end audit Maintain knowledge and awareness of financial developments and accounting best practice to ensure compliance Ensure that all financial accounting systems are ‘fit for purpose’ and provide up to date and accurate information Lead and develop management accounts finance team members, ensuring there is clear deliverables, responsibility, and accountability Support Finance Management and Leadership by providing ad-hoc financial, business, and strategic insight What we need from you: Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA), with Management accounting experience An eye for detail and a passion for producing quality work with personal accountability Strong organisational skills with good time management and ability to prioritise and work under pressure Strong technical capabilities in respect of operational finance, well versed in finance business processes (AP, AR etc) and accounting packages Highly analytical and able to work with large data sets, identifying trends and information quickly to provide recommendations / solutions Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong verbal and written ability Competent in the use of systems including MS Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint & Excel) – advanced skills in Excel in particular ABL 1Touch Benefits: * 20 days holiday plus bank holidays * Length of service awards * Private Medical Insurance – family cover * Discretionary bonus * Healthcare Cash Plan (including Gym and shopping discounts) * Employee Assistance Programme * Celebration Day (to use as you wish to celebrate a significant day in your life) * Car Insurance discount with LV * Employee Pension * Employee Engagement Budget (money to go out as a team and have fun!) * Access to Mental Health First Aiders * Cycle to Work Scheme * Refer a Friend Scheme (earn £1,000 for referring people to join the team) Joining our team at ABL1 Touch means becoming part of a dynamic organisation that values its employees and provides opportunities for professional growth.
