Position Title: Senior HV Invertor Design Engineer Duration: Contract Location: Solihull Contechs are recruiting on behalf of our client, who are known for manufacturing luxury hand-crafted motorcycles. They are looking for a Senior HV Inverter Design Engineer to join their expanding team on a Contract basis. The role will be based in Solihull with hybrid working. As a Senior HV Inverter Design Engineer, your main responsibilities are: Understanding the requirements across the product range that must be considered in the development of an inverter system for use on the motorcycle. Creating, agreeing, and maintaining specification/requirements documents (environmental/thermal/EMC/electrical etc) that can be used to ensure all selected components are suitable. Creating and reviewing I/O and external world documents for the development of new components. Designing LV and HV PCBs with toolsets such as OrCAD, Fusion 360.Working with the testing lead to create test and validation procedures for all new and existing components.Qualifications / Skills required Proven experience in being able to design and develop the Inverter system down to PCB level. Experience with HV Safety requirements and HV Systems. ISO/similar standards for component testing/design. CAN/LIN/i2C/SPI communication and simulation methods.Why work through Contechs?
