Role & Responsibilities: Development of mechanical design solutions in a multi-disciplinaryEnvironment. producing 2D and 3D designs for issue to Production Engineering. Carrying out load calculations to determine stresses, informing material types, as well as considering requirements for instrumentation and pressure plotting. Assign Drawing Numbers (D Numbers) and Assembly Numbers (A Numbers) to parts within scope of allocated work, using 4C software. Be the technical lead for projects. Knowledge, Skills & Experience: A 2.1 or above in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline or HND or equivalent in technical discipline. Knowledge of relevant software packages preferably Catia, Isight, Matlab, Abacus, other FEA. Knowledge of design for manufacture.
