Position Title: Senior Design Consultant - Interiors Duration: Contract Location: Witham, Essex Essential Criteria: Automotive design engineer with minimum 3 years' experience in automotive interior trim engineering design Experience with design of injection moulded plastic parts and secondary operations Experience with other non-conventional / low volume production techniques (machined from solid, 3D printed, RIM tooling etc.) Experience with design of interior systems and knowledge of their general construction and key requirements Catia V5 experience in Interiors Good communication skills in English Experience of being client facing - role is 100% on-site Self-motivated individual capable of working under your own initiative as well as meeting tight deadlines Nice to Have Criteria: Experience on working on premium, low volume, and high quality vehicle programmes. Experience of the full product and programme life cycle Experience of light weighting Experience in a broad range of interior commodities and systems Additional Information: 100% on site
