Application Software Engineer (Transmission Systems) BRIEF OVERVIEW - Role: Application Software Engineer (mid/senior and Principal/lead available) - Location: Warwickshire - Role type: Permanent - Salary: up to £59k DOE Recruit 12 has an exciting opportunity for an Application Software Engineer with a business which is focusing heavily on electrification of various types of mobility. You'll be focusing on application-level software for high performance applications and is based in a modern facility, offering a fast-paced and challenging environment to make big steps forward in the field of advanced engineering. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Be part of an experienced team - Deliver application software for various projects - Be involved in complete architectures and interfaces - Look into areas such as transmission control - Be involved in implementing requirements - Work from design to production - Support commissioning and debugging - Be involved with verification, validation and testing REQUIRED SKILLS - MATLAB/Simulink (or similar such as Ascet-D) - Communication protocol knowledge (such as CAN, J1939, XCP, etc) - Calibration tools such as CANape or similar - Knowledge of transmission, gearbox or powertrain control knowledge DESIRABLE (NOT ESSENTIAL) - Functional safety knowledge - Vehicle and/or test-rig based development - Degree in a relevant engineering discipline Recruit12 is a recruitment specialist, working within the Automotive, Advanced Engineering, Nuclear Industry, Renewable Energy and Construction sectors
