We are currently seeking a highly organised and proactive Secretary/Administrative Assistant for a contract position based in Gaydon, supporting the Factory Manager and Vehicle Platform Tech Centre. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to work at the heart of engineering operations within a dynamic and forward-thinking environment. 🔧 Key Responsibilities: * Provide administrative support to individuals, small teams, or departments. * Edit, proofread, format, and produce documents. * Manage data entry and maintain both paper and electronic filing systems. * Coordinate meetings, manage diaries, and arrange travel. * Handle internal and external communications professionally. * Support financial operations including: * Overheads forecasting and actuals (travel, overtime, IT, licences, etc.) * ED&T (Engineering Design & Test) analysis * Accruals and shopping cart processes (SAP) * Input collection for Non-Product Capital and Product Direction Letters * Weekly financial meeting support * Government grant input coordination 🧠 About You: * Experienced administrative professional (S4 level or equivalent). * Able to work independently in non-routine situations. * Skilled in training, delegating, and reviewing work of junior staff. * Strong organisational and communication skills. * Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools. * Comfortable working with senior leadership and engineering teams. 📊 What You'll Gain: * Exposure to engineering-wide operations and financial processes. * Opportunity to contribute to business process improvements. * A collaborative and supportive hybrid working environment.
