Arden White Recruitment are assisting a leading aviation client based at Teesside Airport that are seeking a dedicated Safety & Compliance Manager. Operating a large hangar supporting various aircraft types and handling full fleet management including base/line maintenance and disassembly. This role is crucial within the aircraft maintenance department and involves ensuring compliance with UK CAA and EASA regulations. Key Responsibilities: * Part 145 Nominated person - Quality Compliance: * Ensure activities comply with applicable requirements. * Establish and maintain an independent audit system. * Manage the approved supplier list and assess subcontractors. * Oversee staff authorisations and occasional base maintenance tasks Nominated Person - Safety Management: * Manage safety and occurrence reporting systems. * Facilitate hazard identification and risk management. * Provide periodic safety performance reports. * Maintain safety management documentation and training. * Develop and implement safety and compliance systems across various functions. * Perform additional duties as directed by the Director of Engineering & Maintenance. Requirements: * Effective leadership and communication skills. * Ability to hold UK and EASA Part-145 Nominated Person roles. * Valid or previously held Part-66 AML or Aeronautical Engineering Degree. * Minimum of 5 years’ experience in aircraft maintenance or airworthiness. * Technical knowledge of relevant aircraft types. * Comprehensive understanding of Part-145 and regulatory requirements. * Formal training in quality systems and compliance monitoring. * Safety management and data analysis skills. * Proficiency in English (written and spoken). * Occasional travel required.
