The Role Within the role of R&T Procurement Officer you'll be responsible for: This role is responsible for managing the procurement activities of Research and Technology projects within the company. Key Responsibilities: * Manage and facilitate R&T sourcing activity, aligning core commodity strategies with supplier selection. * Coordinate and manage R&T programs at the site, building robust and solid relationships with high quality vendors and suppliers. * Ensure design evolutions synchronise with from initial concept through to new product introduction phases. * Create, conduct and close RFQ / RFP Packages with Selected Supplier Choice panels You: * Support make/buy studies. * Supplier database for R&T projects. * Report and present program reviews to various stakeholders. * Programs overviews/roadmaps * Carry out procurement related activities to meet milestones for R&T programmes as per the individual programme plans Background This is an exciting opportunity to work for a global business that has developed a strategy of working closely with its contingent workforce.
