SGB REGIONAL SERVICES DIRECTOR EUROPE NORTH Commercial Operations has global responsibility for the strategy, operation and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units. Commercial Operations also provides support to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies. We are looking for: Our new Regional Services Director for Europe North – covering the following Business Units: Scania Great Britain, Baltics (Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia), Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.  Your main responsibility will be to act as the regional hub and facilitator for all Services related subjects in the region, facilitating the fulfilment of the local services targets and plans.  This will be achieved by providing a strong focus on supporting the Business Units (BU) and their operations, requiring a coordinated approach to manage and follow up focus areas and activities within the region through a solid understanding of what is needed to improve the business on both a local and regional level. The position has an overall regional responsibility to steer, develop, implement and uphold necessary alignments, both horizontally (BU to BU) and vertically (Central/Regional to BU and vice versa) within the area of Services.  You will: Have overall regional responsibility for the Services Area ensuring there is a clear and globally aligned strategy and delivery plan to support and improve the operations.  You will work proactively to develop, implement and follow-up processes, policies and solutions on an overall level: Through defined KPI’s monitoring and steering the business performance  Verify consistency of Services related plans on a regional level  Consolidate and prioritise BU business needs in both distributor and dealer network  Support BU Services to reach their business and market plan targets  Support & steer dealer performance activities within the region  Monitor/develop consistency of Services strategies, plans and activities in BUs  Support in improving and implementing Service Global standards  Verify that adequate levels of support are provided to the BUs including both distributor and dealer network  Propose actions to improve BU working methods and standards as well as overall performance  Identify and spread good practices (benchmarks) throughout the region  Coordinate, coach and support in implementation of common strengths/areas to share  Balance implementation of regional common and global services projects and activities  Initiate and follow-up agreed actions  Act as the “aggregated voice” of the region at HQ-level, by participation in applicable meetings    To be successful in this role: You are a natural leader who is structured and organised and you enjoy, as well as master, interaction with people. We believe you are a social, open, ambitious team player full of drive and energy. You achieve results through a clear strategy, goal-setting, and consistent follow up. You constantly look for possibilities to improve practice as part of a fast-changing business. You have extensive experience from a managerial position within Services as well as an understanding of the commercial environment. A pre-requisite is to be fluent in English, other languages are a bonus. Location:  The location of this position is flexible, however, it is recommended that it is located within the region, considering the working hours in the region’s Business Units.
