Refuse Driver (LGV 2) Reading Temporary Contract - Min 2.5 Months £17.07ph PAYE (£32/33,000 per Annum) One of our clients based in the Reading are currently recruiting for a Refuse Driver to join the team on initially a Temporary contract to remove domestic/trade refuse from houses, shops, schools and other domestic or commercial establishments. Working 37 hours per week with eh standard working day being 06:00am - 14:00pm (30min unpaid break). The start time may vary due to weather conditions. Duties: Driving and being responsible for the refuse vehicle, including daily routine maintenance and wash down. Visual inspection of the vehicle and reporting of defects. The safe tipping of refuse at disposal sites. As chargehand to be responsible for allocated refuse collection crew. Excellent customer care skills Follow Health & Safety procedures and codes of practice To assist with refuse loading when required Experience/Requirements: LGV 2 driving licence. Current clean driving licence Possession of a digital Tachograph Card Experience of heavy manual work.
