As experienced with UNECE156 and 155, the regulations focusing on autonomous and connected vehicles are rising and JLR requires agility and foresight to minimise the risk of future regulations hinging its ability to sell vehicles. JLR is looking for a UNECE 156 Programme Engineer to guarantee Software Updates safety throughout the product lifecycle, tailoring the compliance to in-country regulations  Key responsibilities will include: Oversee software compliance across all domain(s) ECUs for UK, India, and China Define UNECE 156 global product backlog International stakeholders’ management- Internal and External to JLR Plan for ensuring process compliance across programmes, including supplier and in-house produced software. Coordinate software process evaluation to ensure compliance with automotive industry standards. Lead epics for technical assessment of SW development  Identify risks and impediments related to process and product non-compliance and liaise with cross-functional SW chapter heads an POs  WHAT YOU’LL NEED Knowledge, Skills and Experience Essential: Analytical skills including the ability to conduct complex research into new technologies and manufacturing systems and tools Ability to effectively explain complex ideas, confidently presenting these to senior stakeholders Understanding of SW development life-cycle Good understanding of automotive systems and software processes, methods and tools Experience in delivering embedded software products in compliance to automotive standards, especially ASPICE and ISO 26262  Standards  SO WHY US?
