Quality Systems Engineer Responsible for driving the Quality Management System (QMS) and aligning procedures and processes with the rest of the operations team to support the QMS. Lead and undertake audits across all areas of the organization. Provide training and champion the Quality Management System. Key Responsibilities * Support the effective implementation of the Quality Management System throughout the site, including any relevant accreditations. * Maintain and develop the Quality Manuals and Quality Procedures, ensuring their relevance for the organization. * Support the maintenance of site accreditation and perform audits as per customer and organizational requirements. * Organize and manage the internal audit system and the corrective action reporting system. * Conduct Quality Systems audits and assist in training and guiding other auditors. * Host external Quality System audits. * Provide training on Quality Systems and business processes. * Coordinate reviews and updates to business procedures. * Maintain the Standard Operating Procedure content and coordinate the issuing of these documents. * Support all other operational areas of the organization in developing and maintaining relevant procedures and processes. * Assist with training on quality awareness. * Develop, collate, and report on relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to adhere to processes and prevent non-conformity related to products, processes, or systems. * Support and lead activities that promote the QMS and quality improvements, such as first-off sample approvals. * Support and lead process improvement activities. * Write reports and present progress to Senior Management. Skills & Attributes * Lead Auditor certification. * Experience implementing quality standards to successful certification. * Self-driven and motivated. * Ability to communicate effectively with all levels, from shop floor to Directors. * Assertive, resilient, and adaptable to change. * Engages interest and participation from others, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues.
