Location: Clay Cross Salary: up to £48000 Employment Type: Full-time and Permanent Industry: Manufacturing - Automotive Overview: With manufacturing sites located across the UK and EU we now require a Quality Manager to continue the success of the Automotive division. Our clients current Automotive Quality Manager has progressed within the company and therefore they require a new head to continue the success of the department. Key responsibilities of the Automotive Quality Manager role: Develop, implement, and manage the company's quality assurance strategies and processes across all automotive production stages. Lead the quality control team in monitoring product quality and implementing corrective actions. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality certifications (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 9001). Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to identify and address potential quality issues early in the design and manufacturing phases. Conduct audits, analyze quality data, and lead root cause analysis for non-conformance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Provide training and support to cross-functional teams on quality best practices. Interface with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve quality concerns and foster positive relationships.The ideal candidate / Quality Manager may have some of the following experiences, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Experience in automotive quality management. Strong knowledge of automotive quality standards, such as IATF 16949 and ISO 9001. Proven track record in leading quality teams and driving quality improvement projects. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with tools such as FMEA, PPAP, 8D, and SPC.Commutable from: Clay Cross, Alfreton, Chester and surrounding areas.
