Expleo is supporting a high-performance automotive manufacturer in Surrey and looking for a Quality Engineer to join for a 3-month contract. This role is suited to individuals with strong quality analysis and problem-solving experience in a production/assembly environment. We're seeking individuals who can analyse root causes, drive corrective actions, and support continuous improvement in General Assembly. Key Responsibilities * Lead root cause analysis for quality issues (4M, PPS, Fishbone) * Drive containment and corrective actions with relevant teams * Support GA teams with coaching to improve build quality * Generate clear reports and track quality metrics using MS Office * Contribute to lean and process improvement activitiesSkills & Experience * Background in vehicle assembly or quality engineering * Strong problem-solving tools: PPS, Six Sigma, 4M * Good understanding of vehicle systems (Powertrain, Body, Chassis, Electrical) * Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint * Able to work with cross-functional teams on the shop floorPreferred Qualifications * Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Automotive, or similar * Lean / Six Sigma certified (desirable) * Familiarity with PFMEA / DFMEA / 8DIf you're interested in these exciting opportunities and want to be part of a dynamic team contributing to the production of high-performance vehicles, please send your CV to (url removed) or call (phone number removed)
