Our client, a leading player in the aerospace sector, is currently seeking a Quality Engineer to join their team. Generate and implement Quality plans to meet customer requirements. Drive product and process non-conformance investigations, including root cause analysis and concession management. Manage and host customer audits and source inspection activities. Oversee the management of quality escapes and customer investigations. Ensure compliance with Quality Management System throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct required First Article Inspections (AS9102) and facilitate the smooth transition of new products into production. Manage NCR and FRACA processes, including MRB ownership and facilitation. Generate and track quality metrics to meet set targets and determine quality improvement initiatives. Support inspection processes and ensure adherence to proper documentation for product sign-off prior to dispatch. Job Requirements: Proven background in Quality Assurance and thorough understanding of quality tools and techniques. Experience with QMS implementation and auditing to recognised aerospace standards. Proven ability to understand and flow down customer quality requirements, ensuring delivery of conforming products. Excellent root cause analysis and corrective action skills. Core competency in one or more of the following specialties: software, mechanical, electrical, metrology, systems, composites. Competencies as per the competency matrix relevant to the job level. Adherence to a right-first-time approach. Qualifications: HND/HNC in Engineering or equivalent experience. Good working knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100, AS9110, Part 21 (G), Part 145, DAOS. Familiarity with AS9145, APQP, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA, MSA, and Control Plan. Experience in implementing structured problem-solving and root cause corrective action techniques (e.g., 8D, RCCA, 5-Why). Experience with proactive and preventive quality techniques.
