On behalf of our client, an Aerospace & Defence manufacturing business we’re actively recruiting a Quality Engineer to join their team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of AS9100 and FAIRs processes. Role * Investigating and responding to non-conformances. * Analysing quality data and work with the team to drive continuous improvement activities. * Ensure company approvals (AS9100, ISO14001 & NADCAP) remain in place. * Work closely clients and suppliers ensuring the highest level of quality is maintained. * Assisting the Quality Manager in maintaining equipment and devices. Skills * Good understanding of aerospace quality management systems (QMS). * Understanding of AS9100 and FAIRs process. * ISO9001, ISO14001 and Nadcap experience, preferred. * Experience of various inspection tools and the ability to understand inspection reports. * Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings. * Good understanding of sheet metal / welding / fabrication techniques, preferred. * Competent with MS Office and SAP.
