They have a Quality Engineer vacancy on a full time and permanent basis. This position will be responsible for the management of customer issues, implementing initial containment and interim corrective actions. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment. Quality Engineer Permanent Dependant on Experience Monday to Thursday, 7:30 – 16:30, Friday, 7:30 – 12:30 Coventry Quality Engineer Job Description Responsible for management of customer issues, implementing initial containment and interim corrective actions. Management of the 8D process through to permanent countermeasure introduction. Effective communication with external customers on Quality related subjects. Support in effective review of APQP requirements during project phases. Maintenance of PFMEA’s completing reviews of failure modes and RPN’s following successful closure of concerns Create, review and update of production control plans. Quality Engineer Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications Good understanding of Quality core tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC) Minimum 3 years’ experience in a Quality Engineering role Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and specifications. Experience working within ISO9001 or IATF16949 standards. Good working knowledge of PPAP requirements to AIAG standards. Demonstrate effective use of 8D for problem resolution.
