Quality Control Inspector Location: Chelmsford Hours: 39 hrs per week Mon- Wed 7am - 5:30pm, Thurs 7am - 4:30pm (30 min lunch) (Friday, Saturday, and Sundays off) Salary: £16 - £17 per hour (depending on experience) Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, healthcare, overtime options Adecco are excited to be working alongside our Chelmsford based client with the recruitment of a Quality Control Inspector to join their team. If you have previous experience in a similar quality assurance inspection role and possess strong communication skills, we want to hear from you! Working as a Quality Control Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all work carried out by the organisation is of the highest quality and meets customer specifications. You will be responsible for inspecting parts to customer design data and first off operations, using various specific tools such as a paint thickness metre and tape testing of paint. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with inspection procedures, producing inspection reports as required, and keeping relevant inspection records up to date. In this role, you will have the opportunity to continually seek improvements in inspection activities, contributing to the overall success of the organisation. The cleanliness, neatness, and orderliness of your work area will be essential, and you will be expected to ensure that all documentation is in line with customer and business requirements. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Inspect parts to customer design data ready for dispatch. Inspect parts to customer design data for first off operations. Measuring of components with various specific tools (Paint thickness meter, tape testing of paint, etc). Ensuring compliance with inspection procedures. Producing inspection reports where required. Keeping relevant inspection records up to date. Continually seeking to improve inspection activities. Ensuring the cleanliness, neatness, and orderliness of their area of responsibility. Ensure all documentation is in line with customer and business requirements. Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company. REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a similar quality assurance inspection role. Knowledge of problem-solving techniques. Use of PC and related programmes.
