Responsibilities: As a Qualified Mechanic, your primary responsibilities will include: * Perform Routine Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs: Execute comprehensive maintenance and repair tasks on a wide variety of vehicles, ensuring that all duties meet the stringent quality and safety standards expected by our clients. * Diagnose and Troubleshoot Mechanical Issues: Utilize your strong mechanical knowledge and diagnostic skills to accurately identify and resolve mechanical problems in a timely manner. * Use Power Tools and Hand Tools: Employ both power tools and hand tools efficiently to complete necessary repairs, adjustments, and inspections on vehicles. * Conduct Inspections and Perform Necessary Adjustments: Carry out thorough inspections of vehicles, identifying any issues and performing necessary adjustments to ensure optimal performance. * Keep Accurate Records: Maintain meticulous records of all maintenance and repair work performed, ensuring all documentation is accurate and up-to-date to support warranty, contract, and retail work. * Adhere to Safety Standards: Ensure that all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and regulations, maintaining a safe and organized work environment at all times. Qualifications and Skills: To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: * Preferably Have Light Commercial Experience: Experience with light commercial vehicles is highly beneficial, providing you with the versatility to work on a range of vehicle types. * Strong Mechanical Knowledge and Aptitude: Demonstrable experience and understanding of vehicle mechanics, enabling you to perform tasks with confidence and precision. * Experience with Power Tools and Hand Tools: Hands-on experience using both power and hand tools in a mechanical environment. * Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: A methodical and logical approach to troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues, ensuring minimal downtime for clients. * Attention to Detail and Ability to Follow Instructions: Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex instructions and procedures accurately. * Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to effectively communicate with team members and clients.
