QHSE Manager Location: St Neots Pay: Up to £60,000 Hours: Monday to Thursday – 08:00 to 17:00/Friday – 08:00 to 16:00 Employment Type: Permanent We are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking precision engineering company that is experiencing significant growth and development. As they continue to expand, they are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to play a pivotal role in driving quality, health and safety, and environmental standards across the business. As the QHSE Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet internal, external, and legal standards, function effectively, and fulfil customer requirements. This role requires overseeing Quality, BMS (Business Management Systems), Security, Health & Safety, Environmental regulations, and managing accreditation processes. You will lead initiatives that reduce waste, improve product quality, enhance supplier quality, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability across the business. Job Responsibilities As the QHSE Manager your role will involve: Overall responsibility for the Quality Department and all QA and QC employees across all sites Responsibility on all aspects of Health and Safety for the Company, assuring we comply with up-to-date legislation Ensuring the effective operation and maintenance of the Company’s quality accreditations, systems, and processes Understanding customer requirements to assist in continuous improvement of all Quality Management processes across the organisation Devising and ensure that product specifications and processes are clear and well communicated across the company Setting quality requirements for raw material/intermediate products from external suppliers Monitoring mentoring, guiding and training as needed, all Quality and Production staff to ensure compliance to quality standards, and identify deviations and changes required Maintaining and developing the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring Calibration and records of inspection equipment, and co-ordinating the internal and external audit programme Carry out inspections of final products to ensure all quality requirements are met consistently Ensure that the companies security of both the digital and physical aspects of security are managed in accordance with the BMS, specifically the ISO 27001 standard Maintain and report accurate data and analysis of quality performance to senior management. Record and report data to agreed KPI’s Be aware of, contribute to and follow standards and accreditations the Company accreditations may acquire or aspire to, including ISO9000 & AS9100 Person Specification Educated to a minimum of Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant field Quality training/qualification Formal qualifications in Quality Assurance or Quality Management Significant experience in a Quality Management role within a manufacturing environment, with direct responsibility for ISO9000, AS9100, and ISO 27001 standards Strong project management skills with the ability to deliver complex quality and safety initiatives on time and within budget Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to assess data, identify trends, and implement strategic improvements in quality, health, safety, and environmental standards
