Your duties and responsibilities will include the following: * Source and order all raw materials including responsibility for indirect spend across all sites. * Negotiate prices, payment terms and SLA’s. * Liaise with production regarding lead times to ensure materials are delivered in line with the production plan and customer deadlines. * Identify key business opportunities in both direct and indirect buying. * Manage day to day business relationships with key suppliers. * Continuously focus on quality, cost and delivery. You’ll have the following: * Purchasing experience within the Automotive sector. * Excellent negotiation skills. * A strong communicator at all levels. * Well organised with a high attention to detail. * Experience of using SAP would be highly advantageous * Demonstrative experience of achieving cost savings. * Ideally CIPS qualified
