Job Title: Purchase Ledger Clerk Company: Excel Industrial Location: Doncaster (Full-Time, Office-Based) Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Salary: £24,000 per annum Role Overview: As a Purchase Ledger Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing invoices, and ensuring timely payments to our suppliers. This is a full-time, office-based role in Doncaster, offering a great opportunity to contribute to the efficiency of our finance team. Key Responsibilities: * Processing and verifying supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance. * Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any queries. * Preparing and executing payment runs. * Supporting the finance team with month-end and year-end closing processes. * Liaising with suppliers and internal teams to address payment and invoice-related inquiries. Key Requirements: * Minimum of 2 years' experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role. * Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. * Confident and effective communicator, both verbally and in writing. * A team player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
