PSV MECHANIC £61,100 PA A large Bus company are urgently looking for an experienced and ambitious PSV Technician to join the Night Shift Team, based at their Depot in Plumstead, SE London, a comprehensive commercial workshop with a great team ethos. As a PSV Mechanic, your role would involve carrying out planned and preventative maintenance along with diagnostic fault finding and reactive repairs to a fleet of commercially operated buses, to the strict standards set by both Arriva, and the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency). The PSV Technician Team are dedicated to working towards delivering a safe, reliable, clean and efficient service to meet the needs of our customers. Our Engineering Team is a core function of our business, and each engineer's contribution goes a long way in ensuring all our vehicles operate in safe and roadworthy condition. The role will involve: Servicing, maintenance and repairs to the company and DVSA standards Continuous improvement of vehicle reliability MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns and quality checks Vehicle fault diagnosis and ensuring reliability and maintenance is kept to the company Standards (Higher than DVSA) Requirements: Qualifications for HGV/PSV maintenance and repair - Must be NVQ LEVEL 3 in HGV/PSV maintenance and repair, Must have a PSV License Ability to be passed fit for a pre-employment medical Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £61,100.00 per year
