Job Title: PSV Technician Location: Woking Salary: Circa £43,680 Shifts: 7 On, 3 Off – Days & Nights (6AM - 2PM, 2PM - 10PM) Job Type: Full-time, Workshop-based Are you an experienced PSV Technician looking for a stable, well-paying position with a great shift pattern? Join our team in Woking and become a vital part of our workshop operations, maintaining and repairing a fleet of modern public service vehicles (PSVs). Key Responsibilities: Diagnose, service, and repair public service vehicles (PSVs) to high safety and quality standards. Perform routine maintenance and inspections, identifying and rectifying any issues promptly. Utilize diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults. Work efficiently within a structured shift pattern: 7 days on, 3 days off, alternating between days (6AM - 2PM) and nights (2PM - 10PM). Ensure accurate and timely completion of all job-related paperwork and records. Skills & Experience: Expereince over qualifications however ideally, NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working on PSV vehicles or similar heavy-duty vehicles (HGV). Strong diagnostic skills and a proactive approach to fault-finding and problem-solving. Ability to work within a shift system and maintain high standards under time pressure. Good understanding of health and safety regulations within a workshop environment.
