We are actively seeking permanent, fully skilled and experienced Heavy Vehicle Technicians / HGV Mechanics / PSV Technicians / PSV Engineers in the High Wycombe area in Buckinghamshire on a Monday – Friday basis. Duties and responsibilities include the diagnosis, inspection, repair and maintenance of a fleet of company vehicles (psv) ensuring the work is carried out to a high standard. The successful candidate must be able to work unsupervised and have previous experience working on Heavy Vehicles such as HGV & PSV / Truck & Bus. You must be fully qualified to Level 3. You have the choice of working 40 hours per week (8-hour shifts) or 50 hours per week (10 hour shifts). Although a Monday – Friday position, occasional weekend work may be required. The ideal Technician will have the ability to prioritise their workload and work to a high degree of accuracy, unsupervised. You will have at least 3 years’ experience as a Heavy Vehicle Engineer / HGV Mechanic / PSV Technician and hold a recognised qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds / Full Apprenticeship). General duties include: PSV Inspections; Running Defects; Servicing, Maintenance & Repair; Pre MOT Preparation; Engine & Gearbox Repairs & Overhauls; Complete all the relevant paperwork to a high standard This position pays a basic hourly rate of £22.88 per hour. If you complete a 40-hour working week, the annual salary equates to £47,000. If you complete a 50-hour working week, the annual salary equates to £59,000.
