The Opportunity -Do you want to work for one of the World’s most famous Car manufacturers based in the West Midlands? -Are you an experienced Stock Controller / Picker/Packer who has a Forklift Truck Licence? If your answer is “yes,” we have the job opportunity for you just here……… Our Client, a World recognised and respected Automotive OEM Manufacturer based in rural Warwickshire, are actively seeking an experienced Prototype Parts Stock Controller to join their highly successful team with immediate effect on an on-going Contract basis (Inside IR35). On offer to the successful candidate is a competitive, albeit negotiable hourly rate, albeit based on relevant experience. Your duties and responsibilities will be: You will be required to provide Prototype Stores Warehouse support for all pre-production build and Prototype Operations with responsibility for: Following H&S guidelines. Housekeeping duties. Picking parts from designated stock locations using barcode stock control system with zero errors. Bagging and labeling parts as required ensuring that all parts are protected adequately with the correct packaging. Assisting with parts receiving and unloading of transportation where required. Updating Excel parts tracker and ERP system using a PC. Transferring parts from stock location to stock location in a controlled manner. Assisting with the transfer of parts for rework and containment in an organized and effective manner. Drive off site to collect parts and facilitate any urgent requirements.         You will have the following qualifications & experience: Should ideally be educated to at least GCSE level or equivalent, although plenty of relevant experience will be considered. You should be an experienced Stock Controller / Picker / Packer who is PC literate and able to add data onto Parts tracker documents. You will need to have a Forklift Truck Licence (FLT). You should have a positive, can do attitude and be able to work across functional teams effectively.It’s great if you also have the following: Automotive industry experience. Good MS Excel skills, but this is not essential. HV Safety training, but this is not essential.This position is available with immediate effect.
