Project Manager - Exterior Lighting Outside IR35, Hybrid Working About this Position: Contract position for an Exterior Lighting Project Manager responsible for managing the full lifecycle of outsourced and internal lighting projects. Acts as the key liaison between internal R&D teams, outsourced suppliers, and cross-functional leaders to ensure project delivery, technical integration, and milestone achievement. Job Responsibilities: * Lead and coordinate end-to-end delivery of exterior lighting projects within budget and timing targets * Interface with internal departments, SET leaders, and external suppliers to define and track milestones * Ensure integration of lighting systems within vehicle programmes (PEP), including validation and homologation * Drive technical decisions, manage risk, and resolve conflicts across functions * Oversee supplier performance, timing plans, and compliance with internal processes * Support planning and reporting of project budgets in collaboration with functional managers Experience Required: * Proven track record in automotive lighting project management * Strong background in engineering development, validation, and systems integration * Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills * Experience working with cross-functional teams and outsourced suppliers * Knowledge of requirements management and systems engineering * Engineering degree required; Chartered Engineer status and German language skills are desirable * Willingness to travel internationally and a full UK driving licence
