A growing UK-based space company is seeking a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of cutting-edge rocket engine and propulsion projects. You will work alongside the Engineering, Finance, Business Development, Quality and Operations teams to ensure every project is delivered successfully and add the highest possible value. This role is ideal for an experienced project professional with a background in space, aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated engineering sectors. Project Manager Permanent £ Competitive Buckinghamshire Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Lead the full project lifecycle (scope, schedule, budget) for propulsion systems, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery while meeting quality and compliance standards. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks using a commercial lens, managing risk reserves and cost reduction strategies to protect project profitability. Act as the primary customer interface, coordinating internal teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality) and external partners to align deliverables with expectations. Enforce gated review processes, document control, and best practices while driving innovation in project management methodologies.Project Manager Requirements: Proven project management experience, preferably within aerospace, defence, or precision engineering. Strong grasp of project management tools, risk analysis, and contract management. Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting. Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
