This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about project management and are eager to make a significant impact within the Aerospace industry. Key Responsibilities As a Project Manager, you will be entrusted with the leadership of the project management team, providing the necessary framework for the integrated engineering team to achieve its goals. You will be responsible for introducing and maintaining project management best practices and running the project management system for assigned projects. This includes monitoring activities, reporting deviations, and issuing revised plans as necessary. You will ensure that project Earned Value Management systems are fully populated with budget and programme milestones and are kept up to date. You will also establish project management governance and develop accurate, integrated, cross-functional schedules and resource plans. Additionally, you will manage the risk, opportunity, and issue process at the local level and develop and maintain a streamlined reporting and stakeholder management process, using key metrics and dashboards appropriate to the phase of a project. You will coordinate with finance and commercial teams to apply appropriate forecasts and controls, and coordinate project communications with the project leadership team and customer review inputs to enable successful reviews. About You To be successful as a Project Manager, you should hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent and have at least 5 years of relevant industry experience. You must be able to influence people at all levels within the organisation and maintain a customer-focused approach, both internally and externally, and have experience leading projects using agile techniques, along with excellent financial and analytical skills. Your report writing and presentation skills should be excellent, as well as your organisational and planning skills. You should approach your work in a self-driven, professional manner with a "can do" attitude towards innovation. You should be a natural integrator with a passion for coordinating complex projects and have demonstrable experience in managing fast-paced, complex R&D projects. You should also have relevant experience in developing collaborative R&D projects proposals/projects from proposal scope and budget definition to final project delivery to time, cost, and quality.
