Position: Project Coordinator Sector: Professional Services Location: Solihull Position Type: 8 month rolling contract Inside / Outside IR35: Inside Salary: up to £36 umbrella per hour (depending on experience) About the company I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Solihull who are seeking a Project Coordinator to join their team Job Description As a Project Coordinator your main responsibilities are: You will be reporting directly to a Project Manager(s) and supporting them in the delivery of projects, or work streams The projects can range from anything which forms part of a continuous improvement linked to an In & On Cycle program in our Manufacturing facilities, or completely out of the box thinking in delivering state of the art innovation, in our Off Cycle world. You will be involved with the full project lifecycle, from concept, through to completion & everything in between You will need to have an understanding of Manufacturing Planning & Logistics, & be a self-motivated individual, who can foresee future opportunities & risks, with the confidence to methodically share across the leadership organisation Working under the direction of a Project Lead, you will have responsibility for a number of key activities, which could include some, or all of the following: Supporting the tracking of project finances, creating &/or presenting project status, collating minutes & actions across meetings & reviewing project deliverables against a timeline Qualifications / Skills needed Knowledge & experience of delivering small to medium scale projects / Improvement initiatives. Basic understanding of Logistics. Particularly in the automotive industry. Has experience in presenting to small audiences. Has proven examples of solving complex problems across Manufacturing &/or Logistics with a keen eye for detail. Strong background when using Microsoft Office applications. Strong background & ability to communicate across all levels of the organisation, delivering clear messages, with an aligned expected outcome. Understanding of budget management (SAP reporting) Experience in the use of P6 or other similar project management planning tools Experience Preferred Including Strategy, Solutions Design, Project & Delivery team members Liaising regularly with all areas of Production in relation to Material Planning & Logistics (MP&L) teams, including our Lead Logistics Partners running our operations on behalf of the Clients' Project finance teams Potential to work collaboratively with external service providers, delivering Engineering solutions for the Clients' Work closely with out Material Flow teams, delivering excellence in our production facilities across the UK Why work through Contechs?
