Requirements of the Project Analyst - Coordinate and drive development of Bill of materials strategy (including all tool timing) for all standard and bridging/ surrogate parts for prototype build phases ensuring alignment with the Publish Point Review [PPR] cadence. Support and drive releasing process & cadence to review attribute performance well ahead of the formal releasing gateways Understand each change: the what, the why and its effect on the BoM. Drive and lead each change through the appropriate client defined (functional and program led) process and cadence (reference process below). Participate in change management/connected vehicle software meetings to review Concerns and support seamless release flow strategies pre and post concern AC, through to C and notices to R status. Develop a close working relationship with the Program and CVS Finance teams to ensure alignment of engineering assumptions and financial data to support local, financial and program gateway reviews. Capture cost and other relevant targets and ensure they are maintained throughout the design development process. Understand both the financial impact and the engineering reasons behind a change and support the design and release via the change management process. Support target setting at a commodity level via the Weight process and lead and coordinate resulting work streams including weight 2-pager developments.
