Production operative with FLT Location: Northern Ireland, Bangor BT19 7PB Hourly Rate: £12.06 Mornings, £14.71 afternoons Shift: Monday to Thursday 8hrs, Friday 7hrs -2 shifts rotation (8am - 3pm, 3pm - 10pm) Hours: 39 hrs. Contract: minimum 6months but may be extended to 12 + months for the right candidate An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Production operative with FLT licence to join an established company based in Bangor, Northern Ireland. Applicants will be required to work on site specialising in Compounds and adhesives for the Automotive and Aerospace industry, with strong international export links, opportunity near Bangor Northern Ireland. Experience: Ideally machine operating experience within a manufacturing environment. Ideally 5+ years' experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment (however, Client will provide training and will consider strong candidates with a desire to learn and grow within a manufacturing site, and who is comfortable with shift work). Ideally a valid and accredited FLT Counterbalance licence.Responsibilities will include the following: Setting up production machines. Low level maintenance and running of a manufacturing line as part of a team in order to deliver at the required productivity levels. Monitoring the production process. Operating the production machinery as required, such as lifting equipment and FLT trucks. General housekeeping duties. Adhering to all safety & quality rules and procedures.Preferred skillset: Strong teamwork skills. Comfortable with basic IT systems to report production outputs. Excellent attention to detail. Good physical strength and dexterity. Excellent verbal communicator.
