Job Title: Box Operative (Part-Time) Location: Dudley (DY2) Company: GMP Recruitment (on behalf of client) Key Responsibilities: * Machine Operation: Operate machines efficiently in a high-speed production environment. * Packing and Loading: Load small parts into boxes, ensuring quick and accurate packing. * Material Handling: Move parts throughout the factory to maintain a smooth flow of production. * Quality Control: Perform thorough checks on parts to ensure they meet quality standards and are defect-free before delivery. * Adaptability: Be prepared to cover for holiday or sickness absences, which may require working up to 12-hour shifts as needed. Hours: * Training Hours: 7am to 1pm * Post-Training Hours: 1pm to 7pm (Permanent) * Total Weekly Hours: 30 hours * Overtime Available: Great overtime rates offered. Pay: * Starting Rate: £12.21 per hour for the first 12 weeks. * Post-12 Weeks Rate: £12.56 per hour. * Overtime Pay: Attractive overtime rates available. Desired Skills and Experience: * Previous Manufacturing or Warehouse experience (Essential). * Experience with Packing (Desirable). * Previous Production experience (Desirable).
